Fire retardant coating for tunnel
Detailed Introduction
Specification Model: SH-HQSD、SH-HQSD(HC)
Core Performance and Features
- Efficient thermal insulation: the coating has low thermal conductivity, which can effectively delay the transfer of heat to the concrete structure in case of fire and prevent its strength from declining rapidly at high temperature.
- High adhesion and durability: strong adhesion with concrete base material, moisture resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and the coating is not easy to crack and fall off.
- Safety and environmental protection: most of them are water-based formulas, which do not produce toxic smoke in case of fire and are harmless to human body and environment.
- Additional function: the coating is porous and has certain sound-absorbing and silencing effects.
Construction Method
1. Base course treatment
- Remove the floating dust and oil stain on the concrete surface, and repair and waterproof the honeycomb, pitted surface and water leakage.
- Especially smooth surfaces need to be roughened or chiseled to enhance adhesion.
- Before construction, the base surface should be watered and wetted.
2. Paint preparation
- Pour the paint into the water in strict accordance with the product instructions (for example, the mass ratio of water to paint is about 0.7: 1), and stir while adding.
- Fully stirring for 10 to 20 minutes to form uniform thick slurry.
- The stirred slurry should be used up within 1-2 hours, and water should not be added twice.
3. Spraying construction
- Environment: The ambient temperature should be above 5 ° C.
- Methods: Spraying was carried out by using extrusion grouting pump and air compressor. Spray from bottom to top from the tunnel waist.
- Thickness: The thickness of each time of spraying is about 3-7 mm, and the interval time is subject to the surface drying of the previous time of coating (usually not less than 24 hours), and the construction is circulated until the total thickness of the design is reached.
4. Surface and maintenance
- If it is necessary to trowel or meet the decorative requirements, it can be troweled after the last spraying, or the decorative surface layer can be constructed after the base layer is completely dry (about 3 days later).
- Natural curing is required for 28 days after construction, and the conditions are the same as those of ordinary concrete.
